It’s inspired by a Review on T-cell modulating immunotherapies in T-cell neoplasms, focusing on bidirectional interactions between malignant and bystander T-cells, and the challenges of therapy design and delivery. Conceptually, I wanted the illustration to represent the difficulty for healthy cells to understand who to attack and who not to, due to their similarity. For healthy cells, it’s like looking into a mirror, which acts as a shield for T-cell malignancies.
